The University of Houston is committed to maintaining a fair, transparent, and accessible student government election process.
The Student Government Association Election Code exists to ensure that all elections are conducted in a manner that upholds integrity, equity, and respect for the rights of all students.
Campaign Transparency & Election Code Compliance
This website is maintained in strict accordance with the SGA Election Code (Amended 2023) and the SGA Constitution to ensure a fair and ethical election for the 62nd Administration.
Authorized Campaign Period:
In compliance with Article 4, Section 2, Clause 5 and 10, this website and its associated social media were not made public until the official commencement of the campaigning period on February 9, 2026. We respect the prohibition against "pre-campaigning" to ensure an equal playing field for all candidates
Original Content & Intellectual Property:
All graphics, text, and policy proposals (including the "New Deal" initiatives) are originally created specifically for this campaign. Pursuant to Article 4, Section 3, Clause 2 and 3, we do not copy the "likeness" or marketing materials of any other candidate or party.
Non-Use of University Resources:
This platform was developed without the use of University-sponsored social media, Blackboard, or any other academic systems. We strictly adhere to Article 4, Section 2, Clause 8, which prohibits utilizing resources provided by the University or the SGA office for campaign purposes.
Financial Integrity:
All costs associated with the hosting and design of this website are tracked and reported. Under Article 6, Section 2, our weekly Financial Disclosure Forms are available for public review, ensuring we stay within the expenditure limits for our specific race (e.g., $500 for At-Large or $1,200 for a full party).
Voter Empowerment, Not Interference:
While we encourage all students to vote, this site follows Article 5, Section 4, Clause 11, which forbids assisting a voter with the online system beyond providing basic instructions. We provide a link to the official ballot but will never request proof of how an individual voted, as prohibited by Article 4, Section 4, Clause 9.
Ethics and Conduct:
This campaign commits to the Campaign Ethics standards in Article 4, Section 4, promising a environment free of physical or emotional abuse, threats, or interference with the materials of opposing candidates
